The Rakia Mission and the Israel Space Agency at the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Innovation Authority, the Manufacturers Association of Israel, the Israel Export Institute, Israel Aerospace Industries and the Earth And Beyond incubator, announced, for the first time at the 19th Ilan Ramon International Space Conference, the establishment of the Israeli Space Forum, which will be composed of space companies, startups, entrepreneurs and investors in the field.
The Israeli Space Forum has been established to strengthen and develop the Israeli space industry, to support entrepreneurial activity in the field of space, and to reduce gaps in knowledge and barriers vis-à-vis what is happening in space markets around the world. The forum offers a platform where companies, startups and entrepreneurs can interface with investors, government bodies, academic institutions and representatives from the local and global space industry.
Economic and social growth engine
Particularly in these complex times, and in order to strengthen the Israeli space industry, the presence of all the organizations leading the Forum, each according to its uniqueness, creates unprecedented opportunities for all those involved in the Israeli space industry and will march the space industry forward. The launch of the forum will take place on April 2 and will invite space companies, startups, entrepreneurs in the field and investors to join as members of the forum.
Israel Space Agency Director Uri Oron said, "Today, more than ever, the importance of the field of space and its ability to be an economic, social growth engine is clear. The establishment of the forum expresses the partnership required between the various entities in Israel in order to advance the space industry and move it forward."
